Andrew Harris wins the Gerald Lippman Perpetual Trophy - AMP’s Charter Financial Planning highest national financial planning award
We are proud to announce the prestigious Gerald Lippman Perpetual Trophy for 2016 was awarded to Minerds Bell Consultancy Group Principle, Andrew Harris.
Since 1989, the Lippman Trophy has been awarded to the adviser that is judged to have made the greatest contribution to the progress of Charter during the past 12 months in areas such as professional and business development, the quality of their practice, industry involvement, community activity, marketing and promotion, and the support they offer their colleagues.
Named after Gerald Lippman, a pioneer in the Australian financial services industry, this is the highest honour Charter can bestow on an adviser and Andrew epitomises the spirit of the award.
Minerds Bell Consultancy Group has significantly expanded in the past 5 years including the acquisition of Prophecy Wealth Management and the launch of its sister company MB Mortgage Solutions and has maintained the CQAP status for 7 years with all Authorised Representatives within the business achieving and retaining an exceptional 'A' rating for compliance.
Andrew continues to expand the practice through nurturing relationships and working closely with businesses such as accounting firms in both the city and country, providing ethical and personally tailored advice and ensuring all clients are placed in a better position. He is committed to personal development and professional education, attending personal development sessions, industry functions and by being an active member of the ARA and its executive committee. Andrew supports the professional development of his team by financially supporting those within the practice wishing to study and obtain further qualifications.
A current Committee member and Deputy Chair of the South Australian Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, Andrew is also the Chair of the FPA SA Chapter Future2 Golf Day and has managed this successful event over the past 3 years raising approx. $45k. Andrew is a member of the FPA Community Sub-Committee with a focus on Pro Bono work, Future2 Fundraising and grants.
Andrew and his team have been supporting Junction Australia since 2009 holding annual sausage sizzles, renting out the car parks for the Royal Adelaide Show in Sept 2014 and Sept 2015 raising $1500 and $2000 respectively. The business donated another $500 to purchase 10 Christmas hampers with the staff contributing to purchasing gifts for the wishing tree. Through 2016 Minerds Bell continues to be recognised as a socially responsible business due to its support of Junction Australia.
